For the first time ever, assisted living flats will be launched as part of Singapore’s BTO exercise, in Feb 2021.
This pilot will broaden today’s options for seniors who require some care and support within their homes, but are still able to and wish to live on their own.

ALFA is glad that the government is taking tangible steps to provide assisted living options for our seniors in Singapore, who may wish to live independently but have the necessary care and support that they need, as and when required.
In addition, ALFA looks forward to the potential of providing audits to all assisted living facilities – both private and public – to ensure that a minimum level of standard is provided in these facilities.
